The Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism of the Federal Republic of Somalia participated in an important meeting held in Dar es Salaam, which focused on bilateral discussions between Somalia and the United Republic of Tanzania.
The meeting aimed to strengthen the brotherly relations between the two nations, particularly in the areas of media, culture, communications, trade, education, and other vital sectors of cooperation. In December 2024, the two governments signed multiple Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) in Mogadishu covering a range of sectors. This current meeting in Dar es Salaam serves as a follow-up to assess the implementation of those agreements and explore new opportunities for collaboration.
The Minister emphasized that the Federal Government of Somalia greatly values its fraternal and cooperative relationship with Tanzania, which aligns with Somalia’s broader efforts to enhance regional and continental partnerships.
