- Somali local defense forces have taken control of the Iid-Iidka forest area in Mahadaay district in the Middle Shabelle region, killing a number terrorist militia there.

- The Somali National Army and local forces have achieved great success in a military operation they carried out in the mountainous areas of Yasooman and Aboorey in the western Hiiraan region.
